Young People at Kicsters volunteer their time to build Uniform Bank

As part of our community action projects, young people from Darlaston gave some of their time over February 2020 Half Term to sort through bags of uniforms donated by schools to our Kicsters Uniform Bank coming this summer.

The 'Kicsters Uniform Bank' came about earler this year when young people expressed their concern for families who are struggling and wanted to help them. The uniform bank is one of their ideas to relieve some of the challenges parents face when getting their children ready for school.

Over the last 2 weeks Kicsters, through our parent volunteer Stacey Deakin, have been receiving uniform donations from schools in the Darlaston area. Donations included cardigans, jumpers, hats, gloves and bags.

If you would like to find out more infomation about our 'Kicsters Uniform Bank' or would like to donate please email Kicsters@kicfm.com or call 07935754677.

Such generosity can be seen when you give young people the opportunity to do things in their community.

Kicsters are giving back to a community that has given so much to us in 5 years!
