Delivery partners, One Walsall, Kids In Communication, BCP & BMYG, were at Walsall Art Gallery yesterday (23rd November 2018)  to launch Walsall Youth in Unity, funded through the Big Lottery and the Department for Culture Media and Sport through the Youth Investment Fund.
Walsall Youth in Unity provide open access youth activities for the young people of Walsall aged 10 – 18.
The event saw a range of displays from other Voluntary Sector groups providing support to young people aged 0-19 and their families enabling professionals, parents and young people to understand the huge breadth of support that the voluntary sector can bring to young people and their families.
On the day the event saw talks and workshops from sector specialists.
11.30am – Using Digital Technology to Engage Young People – 15 minute presentation from Kids in Communication
11.50am – Working with County Lines and Child Sexual Exploitation in Walsall 15 minute presentation from Street Teams
13:35pm – Supporting Young People around Community Cohesion – 15 minute presentation from BMYG Youthwork CIC
14.00pm – Formal launch of Walsall Youth in Unity Project
14:45pm – Working with County Lines and Child Sexual Exploitation in Walsall
15:10pm – Supporting Young People around Community Cohesion – 15 minute presentation from BMYG Youthwork CIC
15:35 pm – Using Digital Technology to Engage Young People – 15 minute presentation from Kids in Communication
