Schools Out For Summer!
This week (26/07/2021 - 29/07/2021) Kicsters were at Darlaston Town Hall, Walsall launching this years Kicsters Summer Club funded by Walsall Council - Holiday Activities and Food Programme 2021.
Young people between the age of 8 - 16 joined us for our 4 day Kicsters Radio & Podcasting Workshop learning about types of radio streaming; online, FM etc, roles within a radio production team, planning & scripting a radio feature, preparing for an interview / interview techniques, recording for radio (live / pre-recorded), creating jingles / vox pops and audio editing.
Kicsters also had the opportunity to take part in other activities include MERGE VR, Sphero Battles, Gaming (PS4 / Tablet), Photography & more.
